Most Holiday Gifts Are Useless – Not These

Women with presentsMost holiday gifts are useless.  The vast majority of items don’t get used for more than a month or two and then they are long forgotten.  If you think I’m wrong, try putting together a list of five things you received last year and the year before that you’re still benefiting from.

Even gift cards are a bust.  27% of the gift cards gifted last year have never been used.

New Years Resolutions That Stick

Champagne PourAs you prepare to wave goodbye to yet another year, a decade even (can you believe it’s almost a ten years since we ushered Y2K in?)  and greet 2010 with a sense of optimism and excitement on your journey to becoming Rich and Happy, I’m trusting you’ve got a goal or two up your sleeve for the New Year.

It may or may not be a New Years resolution per se. In fact, it may not even be written down, but I bet there’s something specific you’d like to achieve or change in the new year, right?

Avoiding Mad How Disease

Surfer main thThis is part three of my series of blog posts from Costa Rica.  If you read parts one and two, you already know that I’m down here studying Spanish in an immersion program.  If you didn’t read parts one and two, I’m down here studying Spanish in an immersion program.

I fully expected my posts to be about the experience of being a student again, and what that means to you as you pursue your Rich and Happy adventures.  As it turns out, today’s post has nothing to do with studying Spanish.
